Sci Fi Hi Fi Vol 4
Soma
TECHNO
“I think this is the best mix I’ve ever done”, enthuses Scottish technoist Funk D’Void about his mix for SOMA’s ‘Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi’ series.
This series first appeared back in 2005 with volumes from EWAN PEARSON, LUCIANO & ALEX SMOKE. The series then took a break with ANDREW WEATHERALL choosing instead to go punk rock with his effort. This volume mixes up older tech house and deeper techno cuts from VECTOR LOVERS & H-FOUNDATION with newcomers such as ITAMAR SAGI & QUINCE.
ANDY CATO (GROOVE ARMADA) “Moving the dancefloor from the 90’s to the 21st century, basements to festivals, Funk D’Void is right up there with the very best. He’s provided the soundtrack to nights that have become legend. Always distinctive - grooves with soul that rock it. He lives it, loves it and makes the T-shirt. Vive Le Deep”
