Nathan Hollywood’s debut album, ‘Red Night Falling’, is a rich, sometimes dark affair that combines elements of country, folk, Mexican ballads and old blues.
Nathan’s voice is the focal point of the record. He has an ability to take his voice beyond just words and melody and make it something uniquely ethereal, spooky and intense. Capturing the right tone was the major challenge of the recording process. Nathan experimented with a range of ‘30s/’40s vocal recording of techniques to find the right sound for each track.
