DJ FRESH delivers yet another anthem with “Clap”: chunky beats and unstoppable rumbling bassline, punctuated by vocal samples with attitude, heavy guitar riffs and strings contrast with the simplest of melody carried through by subtle keys. On the flip, “Exhale (Inhale Remix)” is another addictive mixture of reggae-fused vibes, heavy breaks and sick keys. Both tracks should feature heavily in the ’Sound Weapon’ project that Fresh is setting up with collaborators Deekline and Wizard alongside MC Ivory, where he uses digital technology to unleash his music to devastating effects.
