Arch grumbler. Londoner. Honorary Yorkshireman. All these notions have been bandied about by punters and critics alike in a bid to pin down Weatherall’s role in music. Yet none of them quite fits the bill. In the dull as ditch-water world of dance music personalities Andrew Weatherall comes across as a refreshing and involving character.
It was through producing PRIMAL SCREAM’s ‘Screamadelica’ that Andrew first made his name. In between DJing all over the world, with residencies at FABRIC (London), BACK TO BASICS (Leeds), ROBERT JOHNSON (Frankfurt) and MONDO (Madrid), he also finds time to run the monthly DOUBLE GONE CHAPEL night in London. We are very excited to have Andrew and his wealth of history and experience for this very special ‘Watch The Ride’.
