“Always Wanting More” is the third 7” single in JAY REATARD’s series for the MATADOR label. To sum up the track, PITCHFORK describes it as “a blazing two-minute song.. with the pinched vocals and relationship-oriented anguish of bands like the Buzzcocks.. melodic lead guitar fills and tambourines.. and then it explodes into a shout-along chorus”. The design of the 7” is kind of amazing too; a clear plastic sleeve with paper half-insert; the disc is clear one-sided vinyl with both tracks on the A-side and a silkscreen design printed directly onto the B-side.
