OSOREZAN is part one of Drag City’s Jim O’Rourke re-issue series and is a collaboration between Jim, Darin Gray, Chris Corsano (most recently drummer on Bjork’s ‘Volta’) . Osorezan came about when Jim was given the opportunity to bring some players to Japan to basically do whatever he wanted. ‘Mimidokesuka’ was recorded live at the Pit Inn in Tokyo during a 2005 residency that included sets with alto sax legend Akira Sakata. This is the first time it’s been available anywhere in the world as a vinyl release.
