We are delighted to present the first wave of new releases from the fantastic NASCENTE label group! The ‘Bar’ series features expert selections from global cities across two CD’s. One disc being classic world music and the other being future world music from that city!
Kicking off things for Inertia is ‘Bar Beijing’ just in time for the Olympic opening this weekend! Beijing is one of Asia’s most exciting and influential cities: a metropolis steeped in tradition that’s also the hub of Asian commerce. ‘Bar Beijing’ features a unique mix of both contemporary and classical Chinese sounds grouping together three main strands of Chinese music: classical and folk, contemporary classical and folk plus artists at the cutting edge of new Chinese music.
All the material was recorded in China and is sourced from some of China’s most respected record labels.
