Along with contemporaries THE DRONES and SNOWMAN, CHARGE GROUP are forming a brave new guard of Antipodeans hell-bent on creating a sound that’s completely their own. It’s a sound that can instigate sorrow, health, rapture, rapid eye movement, toothache and intrusive self-assessment all at once. Charge Group are one of Sydney’s most respected live acts. The four-piece features one extremely talented violinist, plus three members of the beloved rock band PURPLENE... who culminated with the release of their ‘Purplene LP’ (SPUNK RECORDS) then sadly disbanded in the spring of 2005.
The album also features vocalist Jack Ladder and percussionist Bree Van Reyk (who regularly plays alongside HOLLY THROSBY and DARREN HANLON).
