In 2003, the original “Beginners Guide To Salsa” was released, compiled by top UK DJ LUBI JOVANOV IC. The format of three cds mixing contemporary and classic salsa sequenced in tempo order (CD1 slow, CD2 medium, CD 3 fast) was groundbreaking at the time, and the CD went on to become one of the biggest selling UK salsa compilations ever, shifting in excess of 70,000 units!
