Over two years since their astonishing 2006 album
‘Return to Cookie Mountain’, New York avant garde standard-bearers TV On THe Radio return with their long-awaited new album, ‘Dear Science’. Produced by the group’s multi-instrumentalist Dav e Sitek (who earlier this year topped NME’s ‘Future 50’ list of “most forward thinking people in music today”), ‘Dear Science’ finds the Brooklyn group fine-tuning what they did best on ‘Return to Cookie Mountain’. The first single “Golden Age” is indubitably the next step in their ever-evolving soundscape. Zane Lowe played the track on his BBC RADIO 1 show, claiming that it was his “hottest record in the world right now track”.
