Lee Memorial is Karl Smith’s new band. Karl was one half of Melbourne based outfit SODASTREAM. Sodastream released four EP’s, a live album and four highly acclaimed studio albums over a decade of existence (1997 – 2007).
With Lee Memorial, Karl wanted to try something a bit different; to present his new songs with a full band. Joining Karl for the debut album are Laura MacFarlane (SLEATER-KINNEY, NINETY NINE), Tom Lyngcoln (NATION BLUE), Matt Bailey (PARADISE MOTEL) and Madeline Spawton.
