With their debut album going Gold here in Australia, Vampire Weekend return with their amazing new album Contra.
The band completed a five day promotional visit to Australia in late November to talk up the new album (including a live appearance and interview on Channel 7’s breakfast show Sunrise). Their massive schedule of interviews and performances will hit Australian media on the album’s release.
Contra bustles with fresh ideas, and yet it sounds immediately familiar. In the band’s own words they “sound more like Vampire Weekend than we did on the first record”.
