Since the early Nineties Berlins K7 has paved the way for some of the worlds most exciting electronic artists including Swayzak, Funkstorung, Ursula Rucker, Princess Superstar, Tosca, Herbert, Peace Orchestra, Tiga, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Stereo MCs, Thievery Corp and Andrea Parker.

The label first came to prominence with the now legendary XMixs while their DJ Kicks Series are globally recognised as the best producer/DJ based compilations around. Described by the UK's Mixmag as simply 'the most important DJmix series ever', it has featured mixes from Kruder & Dorfmeister, DJ Cam, Claude Young, Stacey Pullen, CJ Bolland, Nightmares on Wax and Playgroup.

Rapster, with its own take on soul and hip hop, has delivered albums from Princess Superstar, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Roy Ayres, Kutmasta Kurt and Pete Rock.The first 2005 release from K7 will be a new studio album from electronic music maestro A Guy Called Gerald, who toured Australia in December. His album To All Things What They Need was released February 7th. Rapster will start the year with Kings of Funk featuring RZA and Keb Darge.
