Inertia is thrilled to announce the induction of the incredibly well respected Tee Pee Records to its current roster of continual goodness. Easily one of the finest rock labels on the globe today.
TEE PEE RECORDS is an independent record label based in New York City, which specializes in Psychedelic, Metal, Garage, Stoner, and basically all things ROCK. The label was founded in 1993 by Tony Presedo.
Tee Pee has long been known for its cutting edge music and artists.
Having released records from the likes of BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, HIGH ON FIRE + reissuing SLEEP's legendary ‘Dopesmoker’ LP. The label has made a name for itself in only putting out the best of the best.
J MASCIS and WITCH released their self titled debut in 2006 to rave reviews and have returned this year with ‘Paralyzed’, injecting some punk into their stoner doom riffs.
THE WARLOCKS signed on in 2007 to bring their latest in swirling fuzz-rock psychedelia, ‘Heavy Deavy Skull Lover’. Other recent signings have been the awesome hard rock act GRAVEYARD (if Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer are in your collection, you’re gonna love these guys), the punk/hardcore band ANNIHILATION TIME and Swedish shoegazers BLACKSTRAP. 2008 is shaping up to be a very busy year for Tee Pee, expect to be seeing some A1 releases coming out over the next few months, including the next exciting instalment from LA’s very own THE ENTRANCE BAND (think Devendra Banhart, Charley Patton & Hendrix in cosmic space).
