Local hip-hop collective The Herd are putting out eight videos leading up to the release of ‘Future Shade’, with each clip featuring a different band member talking about a song on the album plus something about their life outside of The Herd.

The line-up for this year’s Splendour in the Grass has finally been announced. The UK’s Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Friendly Fires will join local acts Ghoul and The Herd, plus Kiwi indie pop bad Cut Off Your Hands and many, many more for three days of festival fun.

Elefant Traks has announced the signing of Joelistics! The TZU frontman will release his solo debut, ‘Voyager’, on 6th May. “It feels like Joelistics is already part of the fam,” says The Herd’s Ozi Batla.

Celebrating ten years since their debut, The Herd are set to perform their first live shows in two years this autumn. The crew have also announced a new single, “Sum Of It All”, which drops in March.

Hermitude’s new single, “Get In My Life”, is something like the long lost collaboration between John Carpenter and Dr. Dre. Grab the mp3 and catch the Elefant Traks favourites at their shows in December.

Elefant Traks have released video of disgraced Aussie rapper, The Tongue, being released from prison after an 8 month stint. Back on the streets and having repaid his debt to society, The Tongue will be co-headlining ‘The Wildside Tour’ with Spit Syndicate this November.

Urthboy’s previously unreleased new mp3, “Your Thing”, is effortlessly groovy and features one of those hooks that just bounces around your brain like tiny particles of Flubber. If that wasn’t good enough, Urthboy’s asking for help making the video and will be touring throughout Sept/Oct!
