San Francisco slackers Girls, UK electronic pop duo Broadcast, Spanish tropicalia dynamo El Guincho and Melbourne experimental five-piece Rat vs. Possum, have all been announced for Victoria’s Meredith Music Festival. Check out the full first announcement here.

Everyone’s favourite San Fransisco slackers, Girls, will be contributing music to an all new “independent short film with hardcore gay sexual content”. Directed by Travis Mathews, new film ‘I Want Your Love’ will also feature music from Italians Do It Better’s Chromatics and Glass Candy.
