Californian singer-songwriter Hanni El Khatib is due to release his sophomore album, ‘Head In The Dirt’, this 3rd May on Pod through Inertia.

Rolling Stone have premiered the new single from California thrash rocker Hanni El Khatib. ‘Family’ is the first song from Khatib’s forthcoming album, ‘Head in the Dirt’.

The Black Keys’ frontman Dan Auerback is set to produce the new album for garage rock heavyweight Hanni El Khatib. The new albumk will the follow up to 2011′s ‘Will The Guns Come Out’, a fusion of blues, 50′s pop, punk and garage rock. Khatib will be recording the new album in Dan Auerback’s Nashville studio later this year and will be another dose of “’60s garage but without nostalgia”.
