Australia’s premiere hub for local music, Mess + Noise, has opened their annual readers poll for voting and a heap of our favourite artists have been nominated including Sia, PVT, Axxonn, kyu, Midnight Juggernauts, Otouto, Parades and Sirens of Venice.

Midnight Juggernauts are celebrating their new single, “Lara vs. The Savage Pack”, with the release of yet another remix – this time by dance-pop duo, Kisses! With its flaring synths and robotic disco beat, it’ll have you transfixed like the beams of coloured laser, bouncing from a mirrorball.

Adelaide pop phenomenon, Sia Furler, has cleaned up at today’s ARIA Award nominations, winning one award and being nominated for a whopping six more! Also nominated for awards was Basement Birds, Perrey Keyes, Midnight Juggernauts, Jason Walker, Space Invadas and Urthboy.

Nominations for the fifth Annual Jagermeister Independent Music Awards (formally known as the Jagermeister AIR Awards) have officially been announced, and Inertia has proved its dominance – with nine of its artists nominated, and a whopping fourteen nominations in total.

Midnight Juggernauts, Darwin Deez, Memory Tapes, The Dandy Warhols, and Delorean, will all be touring Australia as part of the highly-anticipated Parklife Festival 2010. Announced today, these artists – and many more – will head to Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide, between 25 September and 3 October!
